Braising 101 Cooking Class with the Field Trip Society

The evenings are growing longer and the rains rolling in.  Autumn is the perfect season for cooking over a warm stove, preparing a meal to share with family and friends  Come in from the cold and learn all you need to know to coax every bit of flavor from your food....welcome to Braising 101.  Discover how to turn the toughest, and least expensive meats into tender, fall off the bone deliciousness.

Students will leave this three-hour class knowing essential braising techniques, along with classic recipes for wine drenched short ribs, beef bourguignon, and the perfect pot roast.

Refreshments and samples of dishes will be served in this intimate class, hosted by the Field Trip Society.  This class will take place at La Medusa in Columbia City, Seattle WA.
