½ cup strawberries
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 scoops Crème Fraîche Gelato, I used Snoqualmie Ice Cream
¼ tsp. salt
¼ cup cream
¼ cup any good, salted caramel sauce, divided
1 oz. bourbon
¼ cup crushed pretzels, divided
Fresh Whipped Cream, optional
This cool treat is the perfect mix between a sundae and a boozy shake!
Blend strawberries and sugar to make a purée; set aside. Blend gelato, salt and cream. Pour strawberry purée into the bottom of a glass, add one shot of bourbon (optional) and add half the caramel sauce. Sprinkle half of the crushed pretzels over the caramel. Scoop ice cream on top, drizzle remaining caramel and sprinkle on remaining pretzels! Fresh whipped cream is a nice touch, as well.
